Current Updates
This section will be updated as new information, resources and changes become available.
October 2026
Over the past year, we’ve been doing a lot of work behind the scenes to get clearer about how facilitators stay connected, how learning continues after training, and how we create more opportunities for people in the CSS community to work, learn and partner together.
2027 CSS Facilitator Memberships
Beginning in February 2027, we’ll be introducing CSS Facilitator Memberships with monthly level-specific learning and practice sessions.
Membership will include:
Monthly learning and practice sessions
Access to recordings of all monthly sessions
A CSS Facilitator Directory profile
Free listings for your CSS-related workshops, gatherings, learning opportunities and other offerings
Ongoing facilitator resources and learning throughout the year
We are currently building the 2027 curriculum, and the monthly sessions will be designed to support facilitators at different levels of practice.
The intention is to create a more consistent learning structure so people can continue developing their practice instead of completing training and then being left to figure everything out on their own.
Please Update Your Facilitator Information
We are asking all CSS Facilitators to update their information, including the best email address to use for CSS communications and whether you plan to join a membership in February.
Please complete the:
CSS Facilitator Directory + Network Profile
https://forms.gle/dKFWhb3PSDT2szYi7
Even if you have filled out a form before, please complete this updated version so we know we have your current information.
Share Your CSS Offerings
If you are offering CSS-related workshops, learning sessions, gatherings or other opportunities, we would like to begin sharing those more consistently through the website.
You can submit your offering here:
CSS Facilitator Offering Form
https://forms.gle/w4FzeMy43b7kAdty6
Membership will include free listings for facilitator offerings.
Introducing the CSS Co-op
We have also added a new CSS Co-op section to the website:
https://www.naqsmist.com/css-co-op
There is a lot of experience and capacity within this community beyond CSS facilitation itself.
People bring skills in facilitation, strategic planning, communications, design, administration, governance, evaluation, community engagement, conflict work and many other areas.
The Co-op is a way for us to start understanding who does what.
Over time, we want to be able to connect people to opportunities, build teams around larger pieces of work, and create partnerships within the facilitator community rather than assuming everything needs to be delivered through one person or one organization.
This will continue to grow as we learn more about what people are doing and where there is interest in collaborating.
Building the 2027 Learning Curriculum
We are also developing the learning and lab structure for the coming year.
Beginning in February, the first Monday of each month will include level-specific learning and practice spaces.
The current structure is:
Level 1 Learning Session
8:30–9:15 am PT
Level 2 Practice Lab
9:30–10:30 am PT
Level 3 Steward Lab
11:00 am–12:00 pm PT
All monthly sessions will be recorded and available to members.
The curriculum is still being developed, but the focus will include strengthening CSS foundations, facilitation practice, working across different scales of CSS, case learning, organizational and community application, and more complex systems work.
We want these sessions to respond to what facilitators are actually experiencing in practice, not simply add more content for the sake of adding content.
Staying Connected
The broader CSS Facilitator Community Calls will continue as connection spaces for certified facilitators.
These remain separate from membership learning and professional development. They are a place to stay connected, hear what others are doing, share questions, and continue building relationships across the facilitator community.
There is a lot changing, but the intention underneath it is fairly simple: create better ways for facilitators to stay connected, continue learning, share their work and build opportunities together.
Please take a few minutes to update your facilitator profile so we can get organized for 2027.

CSS Facilitator Directory
Don’t see your name on the CSS Facilitator Directory?
Please complete the CSS Facilitator Information Form so we can make sure we have your current information.
Over the years, facilitator information has been collected through different people, forms and links. As the CSS Facilitator Ecosystem grows, we are bringing those records into one place and updating the public directory so it is easier for people to find active CSS Facilitators.
Your CSS certification remains lifetime. You do not need to be listed on the directory or hold a paid membership to remain certified or continue facilitating within your approved scope.
Beginning February 2027, facilitators who would like to maintain an active public listing on the CSS Facilitator Directory can choose one of the following:
Level 1 CSS Facilitators: $100/year for an active directory listing
Level 1–3 Members: Directory listing is included with membership
Level 1 membership already includes an active Facilitator Directory listing, facilitator contact information and a short profile, alongside ongoing learning and connection to the CSS ecosystem. Pasted text
The directory is intended to help communities, organizations and individuals identify facilitators who are currently active and available for CSS work.
Please complete the form even if you believe we already have your information. This will help us confirm your current contact details, location, facilitator level and directory information as we prepare for the updated 2027 directory.
