Brittany Wolsey

Brittany Wolsey is a facilitator, wellness team-leader, and alternate dispute resolution practitioner with over fourteen years of experience across community-based mental health and wellbeing services, corrections, restorative justice and Indigenous-led governance and programs.

At the heart of Brittany’s work is a belief that our relationships can be different than they are today. She loves nurturing spaces where people can slow down, become curious about what is happening beneath the surface, and imagine new ways of relating, communicating, and working together. She is drawn to moments when people feel stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, because that is where possibility can emerge.

For the past eight years, Brittany has worked in Family Decision Making within the Okanagan Nation, facilitating Circles and supporting family and community led approaches to planning, safety, wellbeing, and decision-making. This experience, combined with her background in conflict resolution, trauma-informed practice and team leadership, has shaped a facilitation style that is warm, practical, and deeply relational.

Brittany brings warmth, curiosity, and practical learning into the room, inviting participants to connect the Cultivating Safe Spaces framework to their own lives, workplaces, relationships, and communities. She is passionate about helping people recognize how safety, belonging, and inclusion, influence how we lead, navigate conflict, and work together. Her goal isn't to provide another formula for how people should work, but to nurture a space that asks: What if we tried something different?

Brittany is also a mom of two, a newly certified scuba diver, practices Vipassana meditation and is an avid traveller. These experiences shape her curiosity, adaptability, and appreciation for different ways of being and knowing.

Brittany is grateful to live and work in the Okanagan, on the traditional and unceded territory of the Syilx/Okanagan people.
