Robyn Ward
Robyn Ward helps organizations and teams cultivate the kind of safety where people can speak honestly, disagree well, and do their best work together. As the CEO and Founder of Rewarding Relationships, she is a Certified Cultivating Safe Spaces (CSS) Facilitator, certified in 2021. She brings the CSS framework to leadership teams, boards, and communities through facilitation and workshops that turn values like respect and inclusion into practical, everyday ways of working.
Robyn’s approach is grounded, trauma-informed, and relational. For 35 years she has focused her professional development on psychology, coaching, business, and technology. Her facilitation draws on that experience, and on her training as an ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC), and on her volunteer counselling at Esquimalt Neighbourhood House (ENH). Participants leave with shared language, concrete tools, and a clearer path to healthier relationships within their teams.
All of Robyn’s work is guided by the Anishinaabe Seven Sacred Teachings of Respect, Courage, Wisdom, Humility, Truth, Honesty, and Love. She and her family live by these values, and they hold her accountable personally and professionally. Robyn is the proud mother of two Indigenous boys (17 and 21).
Service to community is central to Robyn’s life. She served as President of the ICF BC Chapter (2026), is a current Board Member with Animikii (Indigenous Technology), and is a (non-Indigenous) Matriarch with the Sage Initiative (Indigenous womxn impact investors). She is a committed ally and social justice disrupter, especially where Womxn, BIPOC, and 2SLGBTQQIA+ communities are not yet included or protected.
In addition to CSS Facilitation, Rewarding Relationships offers Executive Coaching, Business Consulting, Social Impact Metric Consulting, and Research Evaluation.
