Human Infrastructure Strategy Session
A One-Day Working Session for Complex Organizational Challenges
The Human Infrastructure Strategy Session is a focused one-day process for organizations and leadership teams navigating an important challenge, decision, transition, partnership, or opportunity.
The session draws from the foundations of Cultivating Safe Spaces and applies an evolved approach designed for organizational, governance, partnership, and systems-level work.
The Human Infrastructure Strategy Session Can Support
organizational change or transition
governance and leadership alignment
strategic priorities
partnership development
policy implementation
unclear roles or responsibilities
difficult or stalled decisions
recurring internal tensions
community and stakeholder relationships
complex initiatives involving multiple interests
How the Day Works
The session begins by establishing a shared understanding of the challenge and the human conditions surrounding it.
Participants then work through real situations to examine:
what the group is trying to accomplish
what must remain protected or carried forward
which relationships are essential
whose perspectives and responsibilities must be present
where readiness, clarity, capacity, or accountability may be missing
what is preventing progress
what decisions are required
what should happen next
The process helps people recognize what they already know, understand what is getting in the way, and establish the human conditions needed to move forward together.

preparation for CSS Approved Organization recognition
We are developing a new directory to connect CSS Facilitators, practitioners, organizations, learning opportunities, and CSS-aligned careers. CSS Approved Organization recognition will be available to organizations that demonstrate an ongoing commitment to learning, practical application, internal capacity, and accountability.
The CSS Approved Organization Directory will connect people with organizations actively applying Cultivating Safe Spaces. Visitors will be able to learn how organizations are using CSS, find CSS-aligned employment and contract opportunities, and identify workplaces committed to continued learning, practical application, and accountability.
